This service is provided through the PA Office of Developmental Programs. We aim at providing support for individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disability to enable them to live safely at home and participate in their communities with comfort and dignity.
Caring for a family member can be rewarding. However, we understand how time consuming and exhausting that can be. We can help when family members need to take a break to allow time for errands, date-night or vacations.
Our Support Staff receive training on individualized care plan to provide assistance with transfers, lifting, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, medication assistance, meal preparation and feeding if needed.
Being involved in community life creates opportunities for new experience and potential for developing friendships. Our Support Staff will accompany our clients to public parks, vacation, movies, games and other community events to enrich their lives.
Many of our clients may have challenges reaching their goals and can benefit from the guidance of our staff. They serve as friends and mentors to provide encouragement. They also help our clients to make healthy decisions, stick to their goals and to develop essential life skills that foster independence.
Do not hesitate to send us a message to know more about our services.
